How the rule works
You can be in the Schengen Area for up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period. Both your entry day and your exit day count. The window slides forward each day, so old trips drop off as time passes.
What counts as Schengen
27 countries including France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Greece, Switzerland, and Norway. Ireland, Cyprus, and the UK are not Schengen. Only count days spent inside the zone.
