Stay Compare

Drop in 2–5 hotel or apartment options and compare them on the criteria that actually matter for nomads — WiFi speed, distance to coworking and gym, noise, workspace quality, total cost, and amenities. The leader on each row gets the crown.

Numeric criteria need 2+ options with data to declare a winner. Boolean amenities mark every option that has the amenity. The summary tally counts how many criteria each option leads on.

Why these criteria

Booking platforms optimize for tourist priorities — beach proximity, breakfast, free cancellation. Nomads optimize for productivity infrastructure — symmetric WiFi, a flat work surface, low noise during meeting hours, walk to coworking. The platforms don’t expose those well, so we ask you for them and do the side-by-side math.

How to estimate WiFi

The number listed on Booking is usually optimistic. Your best signals are: (1) recent reviews mentioning specific Mbps numbers, (2) Speedtest results posted on Reddit or in Slack/Telegram nomad communities for the building or neighborhood, (3) directly asking the host for a screenshot of fast.com or speedtest.netduring the time of day you’ll work. Below 30 Mbps is risky for video calls; above 100 Mbps is comfortable.

How distances work

Use Google Maps walking distance from the listing’s exact address (not the neighborhood pin) to your preferred coworking and gym. Anything under 1.5 km is walkable. 1.5–3 km is bike or scooter range. Over 3 km usually means daily Uber/Grab costs that quietly add to the actual cost of the stay — factor that in when you compare totals.

What this isn’t

Not a booking engine — we don’t pull from Airbnb / Booking. You enter the data; we do the comparison. For finding listings, see our accommodations directory (Flatio, Blueground, Outsite, etc.). Once you have your shortlist, paste them here.
