Field notes

Brazil's planned-capital sibling to Brasília — 200km south, with a flatter and less-bureaucratic feel. Setor Marista, Setor Bueno, and Setor Oeste are the dense walkable pockets. Brazilian DNV applies the same way as São Paulo or Rio. Coworking is thinner than the coastal cities. Cerrado climate is dry-warm year-round with a sharp dry season (May–September). Brasília is two hours by car for federal-district orbit.

Two clear seasons: wet (October–April, with afternoon thunderstorms) and dry (May–September, with very low humidity and noticeable smoke from cerrado burns in August–September). Temperature is stable year-round (21–24°C average). The dry-season smoke is a real factor for sensitive lungs.
